Ōwhata 2B & 7 Ahuwhenua Trust & PF Olsen Education Scholarships
Of our four strategic pou, He Pou Tangata reflects our commitment to creating employment and education opportunities for whānau, hapū, and iwi.
In partnership with PF Olsen Nursery, we are pleased to offer two scholarships valued at $2,500 each for the 2025 year to support students enrolled in a business, environmental, or forestry related field of study.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must satisfy at least one of the following criteria:
- You are a beneficiary of Ōwhata 2B & 7 Trusts, AND/OR
- You whakapapa to Ngāti Te Roro-o-Te-Rangi
Terms:
- The two successful applicants will receive $2,500.00 each for the 2025 academic year.
- Successful recipients are eligible to reapply in future years, however, receipt of the scholarship in future years is not automatic.
- Eligible programmes of study include tertiary-level courses in forestry, environmental sciences, business management, or related fields.
- The trustees require a progress report from the successful recipient within nine months of receiving the scholarship.
- Students will have opportunities to engage with PF Olsen.
